Community networking game in Chicago

Played at the CTCNet99 conference, Chicago

Participants discussed a community ...

... decided on project priorities...

... and reported on their plan.

About 45 people from community technology centres and networks played the community networking game at the joint conference of CTCNet and the Association For Community Networking.

Workshop participants were asked to invent a community by calling out some characteristics of a place; 'profile' its environment, community and economy; construct a community networking plan for a set of cards, and then report back.

The workshop was facilitated by David Wilcox <david@partnerships.org.uk> of Partnerships Online (top right). The game was devised by Drew Mackie <drewmackie@m2ud.com> and David.
